1. Who we are
Linq is operated by Linq Technologies Inc., a Canadian corporation headquartered in Vancouver, BC. Wherever this policy refers to "we," "us," or "Linq," that's the company you're contracting with when you use linqsystem.com or our mobile applications.
2. What we collect
We collect data in three buckets:
- Account data — your name, email, phone, company name, and the role you have inside your team's workspace.
- Operational data — the customer records, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, calls, and messages you create inside the product. This is your data and you own it.
- Usage telemetry — anonymous, aggregated metrics about how the product is used (clicks, page loads, error rates) so we can improve it. No personal data leaves the platform here.
3. How we use it
- To run the service you signed up for and bill you for it.
- To send transactional emails, SMS, and notifications you've enabled.
- To respond to support requests and fix bugs.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We do not sell your data, ever, and we do not use the operational records inside your workspace to train any AI model that crosses customer boundaries.
4. Sub-processors
We use a small set of vetted vendors to deliver Linq — including a cloud host (Railway), an email sender, a payments processor (Stripe), and a telephony provider (Twilio). The full current list is available on request. All sub-processors are bound by a DPA.
5. Where data lives
Production runs in Canadian regions (Toronto, Montreal). Backups are encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain operational data for as long as your account is active, and for a short post-cancellation window in case you reactivate; after that it is permanently deleted.
6. Your rights
You can export your workspace data at any time from the Settings page, or by emailing privacy@linqsystem.com. You can also request deletion of your personal account information, subject to legal retention obligations.
7. Cookies
Linq uses a minimum of cookies — sign-in session, security, and basic preferences. We do not run advertising trackers. The marketing site uses a single anonymous analytics tool to count page views.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we'll email account owners and post a banner on the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
